iimpact India is funded largely by corporate donors in India. Many of these companies have been impacted by the global pandemic and some have cut back their funding. As a result, we now have 80 Learning Centres without ongoing funding that are at risk of closure.
Due to lockdown restrictions, Learning Centres are not fully operational, but teachers need to be retained and paid. Under new Alternate Learning Arrangements, the children attend the centres in batches of 10-15 per day under strict COVID safety protocols.
100% of your donation to iimpact Australia goes straight through to the delivery of educational services by our NGOs in India? This means we fund all administrative and fund raising costs separately via members.
iimpact Australia has been endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient – this means we will send you a receipt for your donation so you can claim a tax deduction in Australia.
iimpact Australia is appealing to individuals and charitable foundations to help us keep these Learning Centres open and provide education to girls in rural India.
