If you like our cause – educating girls in rural India – why not set up your own fundraising campaign via facebook? Your work colleagues and friends will appreciate your initiative and join you to support a goal. Perhaps you can target a fund raising of $2,500 to support a Learning Centre of 30 girls for a year! But any amount of donations is appreciated! Give it a go?
How to set up a facebook fundraiser in 6 simple steps
Setting up a fundraiser page on facebook is simple. Follow the 6 steps below to successfully set up your facebook fundraiser page:
- Once logged in to facebook, click on the + symbol at the top of the screen
- Select the ‘Fundraiser‘ option
- Select ‘Charity‘
- Search for ‘IIMPACT’ in the field and select ‘IIMPACT Educating the Girl Child Incorporated‘ from the list
- You can use the left hand panel to personalise the content on the page, upload the cover photo, etc.
- When you have finished editing your fundraiser content, hit the ‘Create‘ button which will save and publish the fundraiser page.

You facebook friends will be able to donate online via PayPal and donations will be sent to IIMPACT Australia. Each donor will receive a receipt from the PayPalGiving Fund, which they can use to claim a tax deduction in Australia.
