iimpact Australia was established in 2013 to fund the education of the girl child in rural India. We are a small band of professionals, volunteering to raise donations from individuals and foundations. We are regulated by the Australian Charities & Not-for-Profits Commission and all your donations are tax deductible in Australia.

Our current mission is to mobilise and motivate non-school going girls, between the ages of 6 and 14. We focus on rural areas of India with significant gender gaps in literacy. We deliver educational services via a partnership with iimpact India.

Today there are over 1,700 iimpact Learning Centres operational in over 1,500 villages educating over 60,000 girls in 11 States: Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

  • Secure participation in primary education for all girl children not in school.
  • Provide high quality, relevant education through girl-friendly learning centres.
  • Encourage and enable each girl to become an independent thinker and self learner.
  • Make learning joyful.
  • Mobilise and help transform the community.

iimpact India

Our delivery partner is iimpact India, operating since 2003. Today there are 2,000 Learning Centres operational in over 1,500 villages educating over 60,000 girls in 11 States, primarily sponsored by corporates and foundations.

How it works

We fund Learning Centres, each with 30 girls, to deliver quality primary education. We guarantee the application of 100% of donor funds to educational services, covering our admin costs separately. We raise funds from both individual donors and charitable foundations.
